Getting started
How long does setup take?
Most teams are quoting their first job within an hour. If you have inventory in Flex, CurrentRMS, or Rentman, CSV import gets your equipment loaded in under 10 minutes. Contacts, settings, and templates take another 20–30 min.
Do I need to install anything?
No. ShowCue runs in any modern browser. The optional mobile app (iOS + Android) is for crew check-in and barcode scanning — your office team only needs a browser.
Can I import from Flex / CurrentRMS / Rentman?
Yes. Export inventory to CSV from your current system, drop the file into Inventory → Import, and ShowCue maps the columns automatically. Items already in the system (matched by name) are skipped on re-import.
Will you migrate my data for me?
Business and Enterprise plans include white-glove migration. We pull your jobs, contacts, and inventory from your current system and have you running on ShowCue in under a week. Email sales@showcue.io.
Pricing & billing
How much does it cost?
Starter is $49/mo, Pro is $129/mo, Business is $249/mo. Annual billing saves ~20%. See pricing for what's included on each tier.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days, no credit card required. You get full access to whichever plan you pick. We send reminders 7, 3, and 1 days before it expires.
What happens at the end of the trial?
Your account is suspended (your data is preserved). Subscribe at any time to resume access — nothing is lost. If you don't subscribe and don't ask us to extend, the account is purged after 30 days.
Can I cancel or downgrade?
Anytime, from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no early-termination fees.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or schools?
Yes — 25% off any plan for verified 501(c)(3) nonprofits and accredited educational institutions. Email sales@showcue.io with documentation.
Features
Can my clients sign quotes online?
Yes. Every quote you send includes a unique portal link. Clients can review line items, request changes, e-sign, and pay a deposit by card — no account required on their end.
Does ShowCue work for production companies, not just rentals?
Yes — production is a first-class workflow. Labor lines with OT auto-calculation, crew calls with dispatch emails, production sheets with weather + venue info, and full crew scheduling.
Does the AI actually understand AV gear?
The AI is trained on every confirmed job in your tenant. It learns your actual pricing, your typical gear combinations, and your warehouse — so suggestions are your patterns, not generic templates.
Can I customize quote and invoice templates?
Contract terms, deposit terms, payment terms, footer text, and signature blocks are all configurable. Business and above can replace the ShowCue logo with their own and pick a brand color.
Does it integrate with QuickBooks?
Yes — two-way sync for customers, items, estimates, and invoices. Available on Pro and above. Connect from Settings → Integrations.
Can I integrate with other tools (Zapier, my own scripts)?
Business plan and above includes API access (mint keys in Settings → API Keys) and outbound webhooks (subscribe to events like

Yes — iOS and Android. Designed for crew use: scan asset barcodes in/out, check daily schedules, view crew calls. Office work happens in the browser.
Security & data
Where is my data stored?
Postgres in the United States, with one schema per tenant. Sensitive credentials (SMTP password, Stripe and QuickBooks tokens) are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Backups are pushed to S3 with server-side encryption.
Can my team enable two-factor authentication?
Yes — TOTP-based MFA, compatible with Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, and any TOTP app. Recovery codes generated on enrollment. Owners can require MFA for all team members.
Can I export my data?
Anytime. Settings → Account → Export data gives you a JSON dump of every record: jobs, quotes, invoices, contacts, items, payments, audit log.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion enters a 30-day grace window during which you can cancel. After that, all data is permanently purged from production and backups within 90 days.
Are you GDPR / CCPA compliant?
Yes — self-serve data export, self-serve deletion, audit logs for every administrative action, and a documented sub-processor list in our privacy policy.
Support
What support is included?
Email support on every plan with a one-business-day response SLA. Business and Enterprise get priority response (4 business hours) and a dedicated Slack channel.
Do you offer training or onboarding?
Pro plan and above include a free 30-minute setup call. Business and Enterprise include white-glove migration from your existing system.
What if I find a bug?
Email support@showcue.io with what you saw vs. what you expected. We triage every report and ship fixes regularly. Severe bugs get same-day attention.
